Your personal information and right to privacy is important to us. Information which you send to the Sustainable Communities North East Initiative (SCNEI) through this website, either by email or through electronic forms, will be treated as follows:
1. The SCNEI will keep information no longer than reasonably necessary.
2. The SCNEI may use information for statistical analysis but in such a way that the identity of the site user is protected.
3. The SCNEI will not to sell, rent or otherwise to disclose your personal information to others.
4. Any information submitted to the SCNEI will only be used for the purpose for which you sent it.
We may collect some of your personal details (such as your name and contact details) if you submit community projects to us. This information will only be used to help other community groups to create similar projects. This information will not be sold or rented or disclosed to others.
If you send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content to the SCNEI, the SCNEI can and will use whatever information is available to it to stop such behaviour. This may involve informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school e-mail, internet provider and law enforcement agencies about such content and your behaviour.
You will not receive unsolicited paper or electronic mail from us as a result of using these electronic forms unless we explicitly ask for and get your permission. We will not pass on your email address or any of your personal details to other organisations.
Unless stated otherwise (for example; that you are viewing information over a secure connection) information transmitted over the internet is not secure and we cannot accept responsibility for misuse of information intercepted in this way.
